When you do the test, you're demonstrating your abilities in understanding the subject matter, or in performing certain tasks. Trials provide the basis of evaluation and assessment of your learning progress. There are several environmental conditions, including the attitudes and the condition itself, which affect you in doing the test.

Ten tips to help you in doing the test:

1) Come with preparation and early.
Bring all the stationery you need, such as: pencils, pens, calculator, dictionary, clock (hand), rubber eraser, tip-ex, rulers, and others. This equipment will help to keep concentration while doing the test.

2) Calm and confident.
Remind yourself that you are fully prepared and will do the test properly.

3) Relax, but wary.
Choose a chair or a comfortable place to do the test. Make sure you have enough place to do it. Maintain upright position.

4) Preview exam questions first (if the test has a time limitation)
Spend 10% of the total test time to read the exam questions in depth, mark the key words and decide how much time it takes to answer each question. Plan to do about an easy first and most difficult problems. When you read the questions, note also the ideas that came to be used as an answer.
5) Answer the questions strategically.
Start by answering the easy questions that you know, then with the questions that have the highest value. The last question you should do is:
The most difficult problem,
which require a long time to write the answer,
has the smallest value.

6) When do the questions multiple choice, know the answers to be selected / predictable.
At start, ignore the answer that you know is wrong. Guess the answer is always an option when there is no reduction in the value of punishment, or when there is no choice answers can you ignore. Do not guess an answer option when you do not know exactly when the sentence reduction and value in use. Since the first option will usually correct answer, do not change it unless you believe that you will do the correction.

7) When working on an essay exam, think about the answer before writing.
Create a framework for the short answer essay by noting a couple of ideas you want to write. Then nomori these ideas for the sort which you want to discuss first.

10) Analysis of exam results.
Each test can help you in preparing for the next exam. Decide which strategies are appropriate to you. Determine which strategies are not working and change it. Use previous exam papers while studying for final exams.

Inventor of the river below the sea to Islam

If you include people who enjoy watching the Discovery Channel `TV 'must have known Mr. Jacques Yves Costeau, he was an expert diving Oceanografer and leading experts from France. The man, white-haired old man who was throughout his life diving into the ocean floor around the world and make a documentary about the natural beauty of the ocean floor to watch the whole world.

One day while exploring the underwater world, suddenly Captain Jacques Yves Costeau met several groups of fresh water, which is very delicious fresh taste that is not mixed / not blend with the salty sea water around him, as if there are no walls or limiting membrane of both.

Strange phenomenon unnerve Mr. Costeau and encouraged him to find out the cause of the separation of fresh water from salt water in the middle of the ocean. He began to think, lest it only halusinansi or khalayan when diving. Any time passed after the incident, but he never got a satisfactory answer about the strange phenomenon.

SELEKSI NASIONAL MASUK PERGURUAN TINGGI NEGERI (SNMPTN) TAHUN 2010

Berdasarkan pada Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 006 tahun 2008 tentang Pedoman Penerimaan Calon Mahasiswa Baru pada Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dan Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Departemen Pendidikan Nasional No.18/DIKTI/Kep/2008 tanggal 28 Maret 2008 tentang Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri, Para Rektor Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Departemen Pendidikan Nasional menyelenggarakan seleksi calon mahasiswa baru secara bersama pada tingkat nasional dalam bentuk Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) dibawah koordinasi dan tanggung-jawab Majelis Rektor Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Indonesia (MRPTNI).

SNMPTN merupakan satu-satunya pola seleksi yang dilaksanakan secara bersama oleh seluruh Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dalam satu sistem yang terpadu dengan menggunakan soal yang sama atau setara dan diselenggarakan secara serentak. SNMPTN 2010 tetap dilaksanakan dalam semangat untuk memperluas akses masyarakat di seluruh Indonesia untuk dapat masuk ke perguruan tinggi negeri. Ujian tulis SNMPTN 2010 akan dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu tanggal 16 Juni 2010 untuk jenis ujian Tes Potensi Akademik dan Tes Bidang Studi Dasar, dan hari Kamis, 17 Juni 2010 untuk jenis ujian Tes Bidang Studi IPA dan Tes Bidang Studi IPS. Sementara itu, Ujian dan Tes Keterampilan akan dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat dan Sabtu, tanggal 18 dan 19 Juni 2010.

Hasil ujian diumumkan di website SNMPTN 2010 yang dapat diakses pada hari Sabtu, 17 Juli 2010 mulai pukul 00.00 WIB.


Pendaftaran SNMPTN 2010
Waktu Pendaftaran
Pendaftaran dilaksanakan secara online melalui internet sehingga dapat dilakukan dari manapun mulai tanggal 2 Mei 2010 pukul 08.00 WIB sampai dengan 31 Mei 2010 pukul 16.00 WIB. Pendaftaran susulan secara on-line dibuka kembali pada tanggal 10-12 Mei 2010 yang dilaksanakan bagi lulusan SMA/MA/SMK/MAK yang mengikuti UN ulangan.

Persyaratan Pendaftaran
Persyaratan bagi peserta ujian SNMPTN 2010 adalah Lulus Ujian Satuan Pendidikan dan Ujian Nasional SMA/MA/SMK/MAK atau yang setara tahun 2008, 2009 dan 2010, sehat, dan tidak buta warna bagi program studi tertentu. Sementara persyaratan penerimaan perguruan tinggi adalah lulus ujian Satuan Pendidikan dan Ujian Nasional, lulus SNMPTN 2010, sehat dan memenuhi persyaratan lain yang ditentukan oleh masing-masing PTN penerima.

Cara pendaftaran
Secara umum tata cara pendaftaran SNMPTN 2010 secara online adalah sebagai berikut :

Calon peserta membayar biaya ujian di BANK MANDIRI melalui Loket/ATM/Internet Banking.
Setelah melakukan pembayaran, calon peserta akan menerima bukti pembayaran yang berisi: (a) Nomor Identitas calon peserta, dan (b) PIN SNMPTN sepanjang 16 karakter. Nomor Identitas dan PIN SNMPTN ini bersifat sangat rahasia dan tidak boleh diperlihatkan pada orang lain.
Calon peserta melakukan pendaftaran secara online (melalui Internet) dengan mengunjungi alamat website SNMPTN 2010.
Setelah melakukan pendaftaran secara online, calon peserta akan menerima Kartu Bukti Pendaftaran yang telah dibubuhi meterai dan telah ditandatangani berlaku sebagai Kartu Tanda Peserta SNMPTN 2010 yang harus dibawa ketika mengikuti ujian.
Peserta ujian dapat memilih Program Studi di setiap PTN di luar wilayah tempat peserta mengikuti ujian. Tempat ujian tidak merupakan kriteria penerimaan, sehingga peserta ujian tidak perlu mengikuti ujian di tempat Program Studi atau Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yang menjadi pilihannya. Peserta dapat memilih lokasi ujian yang dikehendaki.
Biaya Pendaftaran
Biaya pendaftaran SNMPTN 2010 tidak berubah dibandingkan SNMPTN 2009 yaitu Rp. 150.000,- untuk kelompok ujian IPA/IPS dan Rp. 175.000,- untuk kelompok ujian IPC.
